About the Founder, Jo McInnes
SheCommerce has been developed by Jo McInnes to meet the needs of small to medium size businesses looking for website solutions or ways to improve traffic to their current site.

Jo started her first design and advertising business in 1989 in Sydney after working for Australian Consolidated Press and Universal Magazines. In 4 years she built it into to a million dollar business with clients like Sony, Wormald, Eyeline, Global Television to name a few.

Over the last 11 years, Jo has predominately worked in Tourism Marketing and Website Design & Development. Jo spent 4 years in Local Governement marketing tourism and consulted to Lake Mountain Alpine Resort for 3 years in marketing. Jo Established the regional food wine tourism group in Murrindindi and Mansfield and has organised and developed many events.

Part of her role in Tourism was to represent either council or Lake Mountain on regional and campaign committees, often having major roles such as secretary and head of marketing.

Keen to keep abreast of things in the industry Jo has regularly attended the National Tourism Conferences, State Tourism Conferences, Adventure Tourism Conferences, Tourism Alliance's annual industry conference, industry workshops, Food Wine Tourism Conferences and more.

In her field of Webdevelopment, Jo has attended the SMX Search Engine Marketing Expo both in 2007 and 2008 in Sydney. An expo that brings in the world leaders in search engine optimization and marketing. Jo also attends as many workshops and seminars as she can and has completed several homestudy programs on internet marketing.

An avid reader and collector of books, Jo dedicates hours each week to reading on subjects relating to marketing, business, web development, professional development, personal development, Multi-level marketing, human psychology, human behaviour, spiritual psychology, equestrian psychology, equestrian training, health, nurtrition and alternate healing.

She has also completed the Bob Proctor "You were Born Rich" certificate course twice and Landmark Education. She has also completed home study and educational programs by Dr Demartini, Brian Tracey, jim Rohn, Jerry Clark, Jeffrey Coombs, Artemis Limpert, Greg Braden, Ester Hicks, Dr John Tickell, Steven Covy and Anthony Robins.

2009 Jan - April - Jo started the year by completing the certificate course of Body Talk Modules 1 and 2. She has attended World Internet Summit, where she caught up with the world's best internet marketers and had a private session of coaching with world renowned mentor, Raymond Aaron. Jo has also attend a 3 day Warpspeed workshop on the Gold Coast and continues to attend Mastermind sessions with Brett McFall and the Next Level Students. Brett McFall announced a new mentoring program for his warpies students and Jo was selected to mentor his students. In her personal life Jo has been married for 15 years, and has a beautiful, 14 year old daughter, Jessica. Jo is an equestrian enthusiast and her husband Jason is a renowned performance horse trainer in Victoria. Over the last 5 years, Jo and Jason established a 130 acre stud and training facility in Yarck and have over 30 horses. Jo breeds, Welsh B Ponies, pleasure rides, trains and has achieved level 2 in Parelli Natural Horsemanship.
